Ver 15 installiation problem

I get an error message at the end of the installation.
It says the files are corrupted.
I used Revo Pro to uninstall the program in its entirety.
I tried reinstalling but it is not working.
I tried many times with no success.
I tried restarting the computer that did not work.
I am using Windows Ultimate 7.
I connect to the Internet with a VPN.

I installed the free version 11.15. Shuld I uninstall it and then install the version 11.15 donation, then run the fix or
should I just run the fix?
Will I need a new key or can I use the key for version 11.15?

You can just run the beta linked. It won't be donation edition though

Then I just go back to version 11.14. I know that works.
you need to do better testing. I spent over 37 years working in the computer field (programming, system design, security, network, etc.) There does not appear to be enough testing now-a-days as look at all of the problems with security.

Programs are also infinitely more feature rich and complicated than in the past. Not to mention the OS and APIs didn't have the ability to update and break everything overnight, causing a developer to figure out how to fix something they didn't break. Just don't update your programs and OS if you don't ever want the possibility of bugs?

That is an idiotic answer. You have to update if you want to connect to the Internet to help protect yourself.
I see that versions 11.15 and 11.16 are having problems.
I did not get any update for the donation version of 11.16.
Will the problem I have be fixed in version 11.17 and will I get the donation update?

You didn't get an update because he didn't update version 11.16, he just linked to a fixed copy before implementing it into the next stable release, presumably 11.17. If you have an active donation edition, it will be able to auto-update like normal.
