Here is my scenario:
I have 5+ batch jobs that mirror data to a backup drive. I configured Versioning on each job, with Time stamp [folder], Maximum versions = 10, and all jobs use the same user-defined folder for versions.
I assume that the Versioning Maximums are based on individual files and not a limit of 10 Time stamped (version) folders, correct?
Basically, I want to ensure that even if I'm using the same user-defined folder to hold all of my Time stamped version folders for all my batch jobs, I won't be limited to only 10 such folders. But rather every individual file across all batch jobs may have up to a max of 10 versions kept based on my config. (This may result in a lot of time stamped folders and that's totally fine)
Hope that makes sense, the versioning feature is fantastic. Thanks!
Maximum versions question with Time stamp [Folder] and many batch jobs

Correct, if I understand what you wrote correctly. You could do a quick test with some txt files though, just for sanity. I highly recommend that

To prevent any risk, make sure there is no overlap between the Versioning location of each of your syncs.
So, instead of defining e.g. D:\Versioning as your Versioning location for each sync, define D:\Versioning\SyncA as your Versioning location for SyncA, D:\Versioning\SyncB as your Versioning location for SyncB etc.
