Recently, I have started to receive an error message when mirroring files from my flash drive to an external HDD that is connected to my PC. This only happens for the same 3-4 files. The error message is:
Cannot copy file
"E:\academic integrity info\AI-Incident_Report-Form-2017.pdf" to
"J:\Work Files\academic integrity info\AI-Incident_Report-Form-2017~4ee7.ffs_tmp".
ERROR_SUCCESS: The operation completed successfully. [CopyFileEx]
Of course, the exact text in E: and J: varies from file to file. In case it matters, I'm running Windows 10 and have Avast Free AV.

Maybe a trace (https://freefilesync.org/faq.php#trace) could shed some light. Could be some third-party app (like AV) that is injecting itself into the copy routine while corrupting the real error code.
