I have PCs connected through LAN to the router. I can sync two PCs over the network, but the issue is that I am not getting a good transfer speed which is around 6MB/s. I tried disabling the windows defender but that does not increase data transfer speed on the network.
I usually transfer large video files from one pc to another, using real sync to automate this job.
I am sure this could be some network issue as if I sync within a single pc, I get full speed.
Data transfer speed is slow on network PC's when using file sync

And if you use Windows Explorer (or whatever) to copy files across the LAN, what kind of speed do you get with that?

I use Teracopy, when I transfer files across lan(on the network) I am not getting a good transfer rate same 6MB. Can you suggest what could be the issue? Now I know this is not a software limitation but a network issue just couldn't figure out why network speed is so low.
My LAN cable status shows 1GB/s
My internet speed is 100Mb/s.

Monitor Task Manager on both the source and destination computer. One of them will probably show 100% utilization of CPU, MEM, DISK, or NETWORK and then you will know where the weakest link is.

More then 2 devices connected to your LAN?
Copy to each & see if they are all ~6MB?
You might have a particular computer that only has a 10 MB NIC.
Or a particular computer that is hooked up to a slower switch.
Or there could be general connectivity issues between what should be an otherwise much faster connection - perhaps related to network drivers.
10 MB, it would have to be particularly old ;-).
On the LAN here, there is 1 computer connected to a 100 MB switch (rather then having run a second cable, where otherwise it would be connected to a 1 GB router) - making it slower.
And from my computer, connecting to an XP box that acts as a server (basically), it is simply slow - compared to connecting to that same XP box from any other computer on the network. I've tried any number of drivers or "tweaks" to no avail...

I have 4 PCs connected through LAN by the router.
My ethernet bandwidth is 1Gbps on all PCs.(network adapter also shows 1Gbps status)
The router has 1Gbps LAN ports, it also shows 1Gbps in Ethernet status so there is no faulty cable.
I have tried all windows troubleshooting steps
Now I will try connecting PC'S directly through LAN cable without router, maybe it will solve the issue.
I am getting the same capped speed of 2-6Mbps on all pcs, think router is the culprit.
My internet speed is 100Mbps which I get full on all PC's.
Any suggestions on what could be the reason

Hi guys, I found the solution after trying every youtube and blog solution. The problem was a fucking app I have installed on my PC's Netbalancer for monitoring and controlling network traffic, after disabling it I am getting 800Mbps on all my PC's. Thank u all for suggesting different solutions.

Always third-party! Glad you got it figured out!
