Recover from recycle bin in macOS - "$RECYCLE.BIN" folder
I am using FreeFileSync in macOS. I wanted to mirror the contents of a USB drive in a folder in my Mac but, by mistake, I did the opposite (mirror the contents of the folder in the Mac into the USB drive). It is strange because I have been using this to sync files for quite a while, but at some ...

Re: File "modified" date/time changed
I went back to version 13.0 in macOS and the problem is gone now (at least, for the moment). It seems to me that there is something off with version 13.1 in macOS. Maybe some of the other users that also had problems with the macOS version could verify if going back to the previous version also ...

Syncing all the time the same files - problems with the dates
I found the following problem using the last version of FreeFileSync (13.1) in macOS.
I have a large set of files that I synchronize every day, by using the "mirror" method, in an external disk. The problem is that every time those files are mirrored the dates in the target files are set to the ...

Modification date synchronization problem
I'm synchronizing a big bunch of files in an encrypted folder (using Cryptomator) in a NAS (I mention this, but I don't know if it is relevant or not). I use the "mirror" synchronization mode with "Size and time comparison". The thing is that when the files are copied to the target folder they (at ...

Computer freezes when the target disk runs out of space
I have noticed a strange but very inconvenient problem. A computer freezes when the target disk runs out of space (when only a few KB are available) when performing a synchronization operation; even though the computer's GUI seems responsive (I can try to execute actions), actions on the GUI have no ...
