It seems it can only be done through command line? I always get stuck there,
maybe I am going to quit my quest unless there is a GUI to do the read only
thing..

Does that mean that if I make the folders READ ONLY then they will be
synchronized with their icon?
as far as I have seen the desktop.ini text specifies the path of the icon, so
in case the icon of the original folder is in the original drive does it still
gets copied to the synch drive? or should ...

I actually just copied the desktop.ini file, which was a hidden system file,
and it effected no change in the icon department.
I am baffled, I have no idea how to mirror the icons of my folders.

I see, is it a hidden file? Why doesn't FFS copy that file like any other file
in the folder?

I have created ICONS for more than 300 folders in my original drive.
Then I sync'd it with the back up drive, all the files where transferred
successfully but when surfing the back up drive, to my horror, I realized all
the updated icons where not there..
