Re: [Bug] Launching ffs_batch briefly shows progress dialog
Taskbar icon is still desired behavior -- just no flash of the sync progress dialog. The 14.8 beta you provided me a few weeks ago is working perfectly!

[Bug] Launching ffs_batch briefly shows progress dialog
Hi. Until this new release, executing an ffs_batch file such as "sync.ffs_batch" resulted in the FFS progress dialog running entirely minimized to the systray without ever appearing.
Today's new release the progress dialog appears briefly on the display before then minimizing itself to the systray ...

Re: Intermittent warning since last FFS update
p.s. Re-running the same batch file again after the warning run results in successful run!

Intermittent warning since last FFS update
Please see attached warning log. Has happened 2-3 times since the last FFS update when running a batch script that hasn't been changed in months.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: some files ... multiple base folders warning
Many thanks for the response - I thoroughly enjoy FFS. I've used it to create my own sort of "Carbonite Backup", where i mirror my documents, etc. over to my 2nd hard drive and then use OneDrive to sync this local backup with the cloud.

some files ... multiple base folders warning
Hi. I examine the same folder pair with a CONTENT comparison for *.lnk files and a TIME&SIZE comparison for everything that is NOT *.lnk
FFS seems to consider this a warning for "Some files will be synchronized as part of multiple base folders." - even though I am using two different types of ...

Folder name moves in Windows 10
Here's some strange behavior:
So in Windows 10 I have a series of folders "pinned" to Quick Access in FIle Explorer - in a particular order.
When I perform a Freefilesync COMPARE (which I understand to be making zero changes, Synchronize makes changes..), the folder name "Desktop_Temp" in my Quick ...

Re: BUG: Display format odd..
I'd try putting a dummy scrollbar object over there..
If the width of the scrollbar is fixed, then simply putting an object above it of the same color as the background and your job is done.
If you're anything like me, this is going to weedle at you until you at least make and attempt :)
Thanks ...

Re: BUG: Display format odd..
Hi. Aah, makes sense - but to be sure I have a suggestion!
Please see image below, and compare it with the "before" image in my original post. I would align the text boxes and just have deadspace where the scrollbar doesn't end the first row. If it's hard to code that way, perhaps put a dummy ...

BUG: Display format odd..
Hello. Please refer to the image below - for me, the top destination path box displays unaligned to its neighbors, and the scroll bar on the right-edge starts with the 2nd row.
This is not a recent issue - just never bothered to report it before. Running Windows 10. Thanks!
