Just donated and tried to install FreeFileSync 10.0 [Donation Edition], and got the following message:

Error 183: Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

The per-month price for 1 year and 2 years are identical (2.08 euro, or $2.44), so what incentive is there for someone to pay for 2 years up front? Maybe at $50/~42.74 euro ($2.08/~1.78 euro per month) or 45 euro/$52.65 (1.875 euro/$2.19) there'd be some incentive. Otherwise, why not pay for a year ...

I will check for a new version when I feel like doing so. I don't want to be nagged every time I start the program if I've chosen not to update the last time I started it. How do I turn this off?

Just installed 8.6, and there are now file type icons next to every file in both panes.

This is a waste of space and of no use; how do I get rid of them? I see nothing in the options to control this.

If they're not made optional, I'll go back to the version I'd been using, never update again, and ...
