The commands Replace or Timestamp give the same result in the revisioning
folder, files with timestamp.
Anyone?
Thanks.

Re: PROBLEM: Illegal Character in Log File Name (Windows)
Alright, since there are obviously a number of users doing path evaluations with programs that are not Unicode-aware, most notably cmd.exe, and the new log file name is just cosmetics, I'll revert to the old naming convention in the next release.

micha, I didn't write Windows, I can't use something cmd/batch/prompt/Windows or whatever you call it doesn't support.
I just don't understand why a . or a - is not good enough and why the need to change it with something different from the Windows standard and that we don't really need.

Please use dots or dashes for the h mm and ss for the log name file,
filestr can't open the log file anymore and can't search inside for the
keywords and I am unable to send notifications via email.
Please revert or change to . or -.
Thank you.

Re: Send email notification
Hi, thank you for this. Few questions:
1) Do I have to put this file on "On completion:"? Just exactly like a .bat file?
2) Do I have to create multiple copies based on how many profiles I have? With different names?
3) How can I use it with the Gmail SMTP (SSL, Auth etc.)?
Thank again.

File Locked by another process (problem started maybe last week?)
Hello,
Did anyone else started having this problem? FFS was fine until last week then something happened, maybe a MS update, but now it doesn't copy files "locked by another process", for example: quickbooks, outlook PST etc.
Do I need to change anything in my configuration, again, it was perfectly ...

Agree, did few more tests. The thread can be closed, thank you.External hard disks, just like USB sticks, fill up their internal buffer first and only then start writing actual data.Zenju

Re: FFS 6.9 slows down during backup
Not a USB stick but SATA Hard Drive on a USB3 Enclosure.
I had to backup less than 200 files with FFS and everything was perfect, ~150-160MBps.
I have no idea why FFS slows down with a lot of files.

Re: FFS 6.9 slows down during backup
6.7 and 6.8 same speed. Backing up ~1000 files right now, FFS = ~20-30MBps, stop FFS, copy a large ISO with Windows explorer = ~160-180MBps, restart FFS = ~20-30MBps.
Any ideas?

FFS 6.9 slows down during backup
With USB 3, when a lot of data needs to backup, it goes down to 20-30MBps
from over 150. I don't remember is 6.8 did it too but I think it did, I
will try 6.7 later and I will probably report Monday.

Revisioning problem
Here is my setup:
Mirror from D: ([Data3TBSea]) to E: ([BAK2TBSea]).
When a folder/file is created on D: everything is copied correctly but when I delete it not everything is being moved to [BAK2TBSea]\Revisions.
This is what happens all the time (an example):

Re: Send logs for every error help
Zenju, thank you for your reply. I thought once you define "if errorlevel 1" every other higher level was going to be included in this section and excluded from a new different errorlevel search.
