Re: Include/Exclude Filter, recurse subdirectories
Hi Zenju,
yes, that's what I'm trying to do. But I cannot make the include filter to include all files and subdirectories in a path, unless I write a line for each subdir... Is it possible to recurse subdirectories or not?
Thank you

Re: Include/Exclude Filter, recurse subdirectories
Hello Zenju, thank you. I've already visited that page and checked the syntax.
What I'm not making work is the following:
Exclude filter: *
*Include filter: a sort of directories, with all it's contentes (files and subdirs).*

Hello,
is there a way to indicate, in the include/exclude filters, to recurse subdirectories with a certain filter?
Thank you

Feature Request: button to pause folder comparisson
Zenju,
I think a useful addon it would be to have a way to pause folder comparisson, and execute the sync of the compared files up to that moment.
Sometimes, when there is lot of files to sync, and when folder comparisson takes really long time, I find that it would be very handy to have the ...

Re: Feature request: use relative paths for a selected main path
Hi Plerry, thanks for your colaboration.
I'm currently (long time ago) using it and it works, I think my original post was misunderstood. I have no problems. Thanks anyway to all of you.
I'm making a suggestion. Take it or not, maybe its interesting just for me, and not worth.

Re: Feature request: use relative paths for a selected main path
Thanks WM, I know I'm describing the my usage incompletely... I'm not posting a problem I'm having or a malfunction of FFS. The example I posted is just to serve as an example of what I mean, not other thing. Its an idea, a suggestion, of an addon that I think it could be useful.

Re: Feature request: use relative paths for a selected main path
I use ffs to sync the same data, N folder pairs, between more than two different locations. Then, what I have is a project where I sync the folder pairs between my computer (E:\) and my external drive (external\). I have another ffs project, where I sync the same data, but between my computer and my ...

Re: Feature request: use relative paths for a selected main path
See this example: one sync job, that syncs these two pairs:
E:\folder1 <-> sftp://192.168.1.100/folders/1
E:\folder2 <-> sftp://192.168.1.100/folders/2
In the example I use sftp, but it applies also to any other media, like:
E:\folder1 <-> N:\folders\1
E:\folder2 <-> N:\folders\2
What I'm saying ...
E:\folder1 <-> sftp://192.168.1.100/folders/1
E:\folder2 <-> sftp://192.168.1.100/folders/2

Feature request: use relative paths for a selected main path
It would be a really usefull addon if for each panel we could select a main path, and then work with relative paths to this one selected.
IE., if you have a sftp server with a numeric ip, and you want to sync different folders, you have to change the ip address in each one... but if you could select ...

Re: SFTP Port
Perfect Zenju! Thanks for your great work.
Re: SFTP Port
Thanks Zenju! Will try it.
Re: SFTP Port
But you dont always use the default port, sometimes you can use one port, and for other connections use another port.
Re: SFTP Port
yes, please can you provide an example of how to configure an ftp connection please? thank you. Excellente work!

That wasnt exactly what I ment... I know you can use that path format, but I mean to access ANY drive by its label, just like you can with usb sticks.

Re: [Feature Request] Verify File integrity when doing Long (file content) scanning over-time
It would be great if the option to verify files is available as a config parameter of each folder sync configuration, instead of a hard to reach global config.

Feature request: variable drive letters for network drives
Hello,
actually the variable drive letter feature only works with usb sticks. It would be very usefull to have this working also in other types of storage devices, like maped network drives.
Thank you.

Feature request: save files to sync after compare process and before beginning synchronization
Sometimes I have problems with my NAS drive.
For some reason, every while my LAN goes down for a short period of time, and if I was running a synchronization, FFS hangs (even if I wait until the NAS drives appears in the network again).
I have to force shutdown the app, and then restart it. Then, I ...
