Re: SFTP file transfers fail since update
You can't get an old donation edition from the website, but it is still advisable for your to install the last free version to test if it starts working again. If it does, update to the latest and test again. If it breaks again, it is likely a FFS issue

Your paths aren't set correctly then
Or you viewing filters are set so you don't see the differences after running a compare

Re: REQUEST: Dark Theme for Windows 10
In general, FFS is using system colors everywhere. The only reason why "Dark Mode" support for FFS on Windows 10 is not available right now is that Microsoft has decided to limit its support to Windows Store apps, while leaving Win32 apps out in the dark. Zenju, 16 Sep 2019, 09:01

Re: Incomplete One-Way Sync
Also, considering they are the same size, it is likely modification time that is changing. The 'source' files may have a timestamp unsupported in the destination (iCloud) and that will cause the timestamp to be set to the date/time of the sync operation. Also, iCloud may do some post-processing that...

It is Patch Tuesday so that might be related. May have to do a repair install

Re: realtimesync to replace google drive
Based on the links you provided, there are many other simpler solutions to fix that issue. Regardless, answering your initial question, setting a scheduled task to every minute is probably a bad idea because it is very possible that another run could be triggered before the previous one finishes. I'...

Re: Synchronization slows to less than 1mbps
FFS will not go back to what it did earlier. Are you saying older FFS versions did not have the issue? If you revert & test with older FFS, does speed go back to expected? Are you testings the same sample data set (even if only a partial thereof) between FFS & Windows Explorer? Started comp...

Re: Synchronization slows to less than 1mbps
Sounds like the connection is fine. What is being transferred when it slows down? If it is a lot of small files vs large contiguous ones, this slowdown isn't unexpected due to the overhead and latency present.

If no, then it's something unrelated to FFS

Re: Latest release of Donation Edition contains Win.Keylogger.Pwsx-10029486-0
It depends on what your AV's vendor set up for such cases, but looks like it is "powered by ClamAV" https://www.synology.com/en-us/dsm/7.2/software_spec/antivirus_essential I haven't heard anything bad, or good, about ClamAV, but I have seen its name a handful of times. You could report th...

Re: Conflicts - "both sides have changed".... what does this mean?
That is a good question that, unfortunately, you will have to investigate to figure out. Something changed them. What path are the files located? All in the same place? Common parent directory? What antivirus are you running?

Re: Conflicts - "both sides have changed".... what does this mean?
It means both copies of the files have changed since the last sync. FFS doesn't know which copy you want to keep until you tell it what to do

If one folder contains all and only the originals, you can just do a mirror sync from that folder to the other one. The originals folder would be the left-side location

Re: Treat folder as a file for versioning
Versioning is only for files. Folders are only used to maintain directory structure for versioning. You could look into File History or a scheduled task that copies the saved-game directory periodically. A batch script can utilize environmental variables to create a destination folder name. %date:~4...

That seems unlikely. Do you have an example?
UWP app icons are in their own sandboxed storage and file associations are set under-the-hood/in the registry. GDrive has no access to and can't touch either of those

Running under SYSTEM also runs it with the SYSTEM credentials, meaning it is trying to access the NAS/network locations with them, and they probably don't have the necessary permissions. This is one of the drawbacks of running it as SYSTEM. I am not aware of anyone who fixed this other than running ...
