The same problem occurs. Please note that when I mapped the network drive for the first time, Windows asked me for the credentials and I input AirDisk and the password.

Deleting files on a mapped network drive
I have a shared network drive and from Windows Explorer (Windows 10) I can delete files. However access to delete these files from FreeFileSync (run as Administrator) is denied. The following error is displayed: ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED: Access is denied. [DeleteFile].

Could one of the reasons be that some bytes of the file are being copied incorrectly due to a hard disk fault.

Every month I compare by File Content the backup files which have just been synced by File Time & Size to check that the files are being copied correctly.
