I'm using FFS to sync my files into my dropbox folder (and to a seperate hard drive and folder for peace of mind) so I can use dropbox for file versioning I know FFS does this and am trying out File Versioning with FFS but do prefer FileHistory/Dropbox interface (despite Dropbox taking up a lot more ram). I'm syncing it via a mirror because I have files I'm storing in multiple places so storing them in one Dropbox folder isn't practical and cumbersome. I love windows FileHistory and prefer it due to the great UI design and ease of use. But it seems I noticed whenever dropbox syncs a folder called RecycleBin~d1f7.ffs_tmp it then often crashes FileHistory and gives me the error 200. I also run into issues as I use RealTimeSync to sync it in real time but sometimes get a exit code 2 error. It thinks the batch file isn't there when it is but can be fixed with a restart usually
Unable to start a backup cycle for configuration C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\FileHistory\Configuration\Config
I can fix FH by removing the config files but it's doing this multiple times a day :/ Can anyone help?

Normally it makes little sense to backup your recycle-bin.
Therefore, several common locations of recycle bins are already by default in the FFS Exclude Filter, but apparently not yet the dropbox one.
The simplest way to go about, is running a Compare in FFS, and locate the RecycleBinXxxx folder and via a right-click add it to your Exclude Filter. If the last part of the folder-name is not static, you can edit the Exclude Filter and change the relevant line into e.g. *\RecycleBin*\

Thank you, I've added that to my exclusion list that should be the cause of the error. I'll let it continue on and see if I get any errors. Cheers!Normally it makes little sense to backup your recycle-bin.

EDIT Just got the error from RealTimeSync again this is the error:
Command ""C:\Program Files\FreeFileSync\FreeFileSync.exe" D:\SyncSettings.ffs_batch" failed.
Exit code 2
There are a lot of RecyleBin folders in a Dropbox folder I sync. Heres a example:
