Hi,
When I use freefilesync, I need to filter a lot of folder to not to be synced. Space or Alt-Down works great, but they are all temporary. Next time I run the comparison, it forgets these settings.
Therefore, the only viable option is to right click and exclude via filter and selecting the folder location. It's perfect except, it is a very slow process and I would like to use keyboard.
I wish we can set the shortcuts. But for me, space or Alt-Down would have been much more useful for this purpose.
What can I do to improve my workflow?

Define your In- and Exclude Filter rules ones.
Then simply save your sync configuration (Save as) a *.ffs_gui file.
This also saves Filter rules.
Next time simply open that saved sync configuration and there you are.

probably i wasn't clear, sorry.
Filters are saved, yes. No problem with that. But there is no shortcut for filters. Then it's several clicks per folder/file.
I am looking for a shortcut for filtering OR a way to save the settings of the mentioned temporary measures (such as Space or CTRL down.)

Do you know shortcut for filtering? No.
You have couple of shortcuts to exclude a folder temporarily. But those are not saved for next comparison.

Those shortcuts for temporary In- or Exclusions exist because they are temporarily, which by nature means that they will not and are not intended to be saved or retained.

For In- or Exclusions that need to be saved or retained,
• for single items your "several clicks" are the one-time action of just two clicks; first right-clicking the item, hoovering over "Include via filter" or "Exclude via filter" in the context menu, and then left- or right-clicking the desired type/format of the filtering.
Creating shortcuts for the different available options would require six different shortcuts.
• for multiple items, after selecting those multiple items, your "several clicks" are again the one-time action of two clicks; first right-click on any of multiple the selected items, and then in the context menu left- or right-click "Include via filter <muliple selection>" or "Exclude via filter <muliple selection>"
