Hi,
I have been trying to use the donation edition .run file and license file, but i cant even get the .run file to work
my ubuntu version is Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS
I tried double clicking the file as well as executing this in terminal as well but none of it works
I am only able to see a proper error in the terminal which is
cannot execute binary file: Exec format error - without using sudo
or
Syntax error: ")" unexpected - with sudo
I tried everything i could but i'm new to linux and need your help
Unable to use run files on the donation edition

Try the free version of FFS just to see if this is a FFS issue or OS issue

What CPU? Sounds like an architecture mismatch. FFS doesn't have ARM support in Linux AFAIK

Oh, i run ubuntu on a Raspberry Pi 5
So, FFS wont work on it if i install it using a run file?
It works fine when i use apt-get install though

Someone is taking the source code of the free version and compiling it for ARM.
