Hi,
I have recently duplicated all the content of an external HDD ("original HDD") to another ("copied HDD").
But since then I have changed some files in the original HDD, and the copied HDD is not physically with me anymore.
I would like to know if it is possible to create a "comparison file" with all the copied HDD content and then compare its content with the original HDD without having both physically plugged in my computer and without an internet solution.
P.S. The original HDD is physically with me.
Thanks!

There is no "off-line" option available in FreeFileSync (or any other tool) as far as I am aware of.
However, if you know the date/time of the sync between "original" and "copied", you can setup a FFS sync between "original" and a an arbitrary "modified" location, and use the time-span option for your comparison, setting the lower end of the time-span to the date of sync between "original" and "copied".
This allows you to store all changes to "original" since the to "copied" sync to the "modified" location (in its correct folder structure) and ultimately port (just) that to the "copied" location.
