Hello -
I am sync'ing between three (3) drives:
1. A Home LAN HD - WD 4TB
2. A USB Drive - Seagate Backup Plus
3. A USB Drive - Seagate Passport
The Source Drive is the WD 4TB (Drive 1) - This drive has two (2) main folders for sync'ing
1.1 WD 4TB Calibre
1.2 WD 4TB USB Backup
I like to have Calibre separate for usage of the application, but for backup purposes I have a copy of the Calibre folder as a subolder in WD 4TB USB Backup
1.2.1 WD 4TB USB Backup\Calibre
The Seagate Backup Plus (Drive 2) is the drive I use for Cloud Backup (iDrive, Dropbox, etc.)
The Seagate Passport (Drive 3) is a portable drive I use with other laptops
Ok, so I have three (3) FreeFileSync Sync Batch jobs created (i.e. update from left to right)
Batch #1 - 1.1 WD 4TB Calibre (left) 1.2.1 WD 4TB USB Backup\Calibre (right)
Batch #2 - 1.2 WD 4TB USB Backup (left) 2. A USB Drive - Seagate Backup Plus (right)
Batch #3 - 2. A USB Drive - Seagate Backup Plus (left) 3. A USB Drive - Seagate Passport (right)
So basically, I want to setup the LAN Drive for backup (Batch #1); then update the Cloud Backup Drive (Batch #2); and then update the Portable Drive (Batch #3)
I want to conduct these batch jobs in the order listed and I would like to automate this process - i.e. Batch #1 runs and when completed Batch #2 runs and when completed Batch #3 runs and when completed the process stops
So while the Batch #1 job is time specific, the other Batch Jobs are event specific (i.e. completion of Batch #1, Batch #2, etc.)
I am requesting assistance regarding the process to setup the sequential batch process outlined above
Thank you
Michael

You can use post-sync commands to run the next sync when the current one finishes.

Thank you Mr. xCSxXenon
I'm actually running a sync now so I can't check this - but is there a particular syntax that is required for the post sync command to run another batch - and if so, what is it? Oh, also, is this a command entered in FreeFileSync or in the Windows Task Schedule?
Thanks again
Michael

It is all in FFS, nothing in Task Scheduler.
