I'm sorry I made a new thread about this, I didn't assume this would be a persistent issue since it never happened to me before, and I've been updating FFS promptly every month.
I'm baffled as to why this particular issue hasn't been tracked down and addressed yet. I mirror the same experience ...

I just encountered this error, which is frankly the first issue I ever have with your excellent, excellent software :-)
The only further details I can provide is that it states "CreateFile" is using the xml config file. I tried deleting GlobalSettings.xml and letting FFS create a new one ...

Spanish translation mistake
When done syncing, we get the "Completed" window featuring "Statistics" and
"Logging" info.
"Logging" has been translated as "Iniciando sesión", which is incorrect since
this would be the translation to "Logging in", an entirely different action.
"Logging" may be translated as "Registro" in ...
