Thanks for your very detailed reply, Plerry.
I think you've hit the "nail on the head" with the statement "this is not possible with FreeFileSync".
As I had said in my original post, I've tried various options with no success.
Free File Sync (FFS) is a great software tool, but it can't cover ...

Sync all *.pdf files in all subfolders of a specific folder, but not subfolders below that folder
NOTE: I am using Free File Sync on a Windows computer, and in this post I am using the terms "folder" and "subfolder" whereas others may wish to use the term "directory" or "sub-directory".

Re: Logs not deleting per options setting
Yes, for example, if I have 14 entries in the HTML logs folder, run a successful Sync, then I end up with 15 entries in the HTML logs folder.
P.S.: was that a typo in the version number, 3.7 vs 13.7?

Re: Logs not deleting per options setting
I've been researching this further and would like to report the following:
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
Free File Sync: Version 13.7.
I've tried Changing the Options Setting "Delete logs after x days". I tried both 1 and 45.

Re: Is it Possible to Load/Save Comparison Paths Lists
I didn't know that GlobalSettings.xml existed. Thanks Zenju!
For others who'd like to know, the GlobalSettings.xml file, by default (Windows), is at:
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\FreeFileSync
A quick way to the folder is:
%APPDATA%\Roaming\FreeFileSync

Re: Is it Possible to Load/Save Comparison Paths Lists
2 excellent replies - thanks Plerry & Zenju.
One thing that I missed in my original post was when referring to the limit on folder pairs, the limit seems to be on the combo-box dropdown. When above 20, the newer path takes the place of one of the existing paths.

Is it Possible to Load/Save Comparison Paths Lists
There are 2 sets of comparison paths, both of which seem to have a limit of 20 paths.
I have 2 backup disks, so would like to be able to load different lists as follows:
• for drive 1 to drive 2
• for drive 1 to drive 3
• for drive 2 to drive 3
etc.
Is this possible?
