Re: Need to Restart to get New Files to Backup
As an idea, it would be helpful if FFS ran some sort of analysis on the folders to be updated, and did them in an order that ensured all transfers happened in one run.

Re: Need to Restart to get New Files to Backup
I'll try it, but with Win11 and a fast HDD and CPU, it takes no time to do.

Re: Need to Restart to get New Files to Backup
I need to run 2 or 3 different backups in sequence or FFS gets confused or the backup does not happen. I initially run a browser backup to get things into my E: backup folder from 2 browsers, then I do a backup from E: to F: that includes the Backup folder. If I combined them into 1 backup job, FFS ...

Re: Need to Restart to get New Files to Backup
How about creating a setting to optionally do the comparison anytime you start a backup? Or, if not, then I will continue to quit the program then restart it every time.

ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED: Access is denied. [CreateFile]
Hello - When I run FFS, at the end when it tries to write the log file to:
C:\Program Files\FreeFileSync
I get this message:
ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED: Access is denied. [CreateFile]
I'm running FFS as a user not as an admin. What can I do to allow FFS to write the log file to that location?
Thanks,
C:\Program Files\FreeFileSync

Display Changed Files?
Hello - I looked in the docs and Q&A but could not find this answer. After doing an Update Synchronization, I would like to see a list of all the files that were copied or updated. How do I do that?
Thanks,
Tony
