Re: Moving 30TB of files - how to avoid delete and copy?
If you run FFS Mirror or Update syncs without having checkmarked the "Detect moved files" option, FFS will simply compare the (size and date/time) of identically named left and right side files, located in matching relative folders. If those are the same, it will not suggest to delete and ...

As described, VerifyCopiedFiles is a setting stored in "your" GlobalSettings.xml-file, just like e.g. FailSafeFileCopy. If running syncs with or without VerifyCopiedFiles is that important for you, you may act as described in https://freefilesync.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9914#p36695 , but...

See the limitations regarding RealTimeSync (RTS), specifically the third bullet.

You create the problem yourself by having computer A and computer B sync e.g. to one and the same location on the NAS. I suppose you now have FFS run a *.ffs_batch sync configuration.
If you save your sync configuration as a *.ffs_gui sync configuration.
When you have FFS run a *.ffs_gui sync configuration, it always opens in the FFS GUI.

Re: some ffs info lost when updating from donation edition
The info you refer to is only saved when you close/terminate FFS in a regular way.
If you kill FFS in a non-regular way, e.g. via the task manager, or by a reboot, that info is not saved.
Likely, running an installation of a new/other version of FFS while FFS is still open also qualifies as such.

Re: runs once, deletes all if twice
By deleting the content of Documents and Pictures in your left-side location after the sync, you create the problem yourself. If you then again run a Mirror sync, the right-side is made equal to the left-side (=empty). You probably want to change to sync variant from Mirror into Update. The Update v...

FFS does not forget to report that Thumbs.db is not synchronized,
Thumbs.db is simply one of the default entries in the Exclude Filter, as it does not make sense to sync that file (just like e.g. desktop.ini files).

Your screen-shot shows your 3rd left-right pair uses the E:\BackupW11b location.
You should replace E:\BackupW11b by E:\BackupW11b\MyPhoneExplorer.
Then you avoid overlaps between your right-side locations, and thereby also the unintended deletions.

If you modify a file, I suppose the date and very likely the size of the modified version will change. If you then run a Compare in FreeFileSync (FFS), comparing by "file time and size", it should detect the differences. But, the suggested sync action (if any) depends on the sync variant y...

When you create a scheduled task, you define the name yourself.
Only you know the name you entered when creating the task.

The Task Scheduler will only show tasks for the currently logged-in user. So, if you created a Scheduled Task as another user, you need to log-in as that user. If you open the Task Scheduler, and the "Task Scheduler (local)" is active (top-left), it will likely show nothing. Hoever, if you...

Re: Error mirroring read-only source: Cannot write file "Z:\sync.fss_db.2824.fss_tmp"
You have selected to run a TwoWay-sync or to "Detect moved files". In both cases FFS will (try to) create a database file at either side (left and right), and throws an error when unable to do so. As your "source" (likely your left base location) is read only, there is no need to...

If you continue, FFS will perform as intended, except for moving deleted files on your phone to a recycle-bin. Instead those files will then be permanently deleted.

You can use Macros,

If you define a right-side base location that does not exist yet,
FFS will ask if it should create it for you.
