What if any number of File Limits are there?
Hello All,
What if any number of File Limits are there?
Say I have a collection of .tif files about 5 million plus.
Would Free File sync be able to read into a directory of this many images, then sync them and such?

Re: error code 5 error
Try to enable ffs to copy locked files options in settings.
The Backup will copy the file in it's last property state.
Can anyone else confirm?

Re: Built In Scheduler
Wouldn't this would be an overhead on the workstation because it would always have to be running.
best to schedule the backups with Task Scheduler so that there is a small footprint on the workstation & less overhead on the memory and processors.
Correct me if I am wrong . . .

I am curious about the logic of doing it that way, why so?
I keep them in a different directory then after a while, delete them.

Re: Items remaining: 3 (270 kb)
Yes, the error message is part of the log file, the logs with errors has the error suffix in the log file name.
But my question is this . . . .
When it comes to the Items Remaining, How can I tell what was skipped from viewing the logs?

Re: Is there a way to move files then delete?
To schedule a backup, you will need to save the batch file and when you set up your Task Scheduler, you would select the batch file to run and have it for the program to run, then for additional arguments (select the path to the FreeFileSync.exe) that will get you started. Note when you are ...

Check the options when you save as a Batch file, there you can set the option to save a log, close program when complete or ignore errors and such.
