Long lines are bad for fast reading and keeping the line... that's why every newspaper has a layout in small columns, even for long texts.

Tooltips on show/hide buttons
No matter if the button will hide or will show the specified files, the tooltip always says "show".
It does not recognize/represent the current state of the button.

Hi!
I'm not using OneDrive or other cloud services in this regard.

Hi!
Simple example:
C:\ should be mirrored to D:\

"\BigData\" is ignored
on D: there already exists D:\BigData\
What I want: D:\BigData\ should be deleted because C:\BigData\ is ignored.
But apparently it is not deleted as the filter "\BigData\" also targets the mirror-side.

That's not correct.
Yep it was a wild guess.
So, then it is obvious that if you remove exclusions, for those files a (new) comparison needs to be performed.
From the logic behind: yes, obvious. As an enduser: No.

Mmhm there currently is no real file type filter.
will also match a folder like that:
You would need e.g. a "stop" character like $ in RegExps:
*.doc
source\something.doc\somefile.txt
*.doc$

[UserManual] Filter wildcards are greedy
Hi,
I think it is worth mentioning somewhere that the wildcard asterisk acts greedy here, which means it will match as much as possible.
Therefore, exclusion filter \SubFolder\*.tmp will exclude all .tmp files (and folders) in SubFolder, no matter how deep in the hierarchy (e.g. \SubFolder ...

Same here (2018-12-07). It doesn't seem to be a random ad.
I always struggle to disable my adblocker because then I also disable the tracking protection (google is everywhere...).
So in this case I still block the ad because it's too irritating and prefer donating. I think that helps much more.

Re: Sync by filename only (not size)
Not sure what you want to do... if your master has errors, you shouldn't do anything with it but throw it away and buy a new one.
If it has errors you have to see every file on that master as possibly defect. You can't notice errors just by looking at the file size.
However, nothing keeps you from ...
