Re: FEATURE REQUEST - Kind Of
Thumbs from me. I've made that request before. Not to be able to 'parse the list' during sync but to be able to see the progress. If I'm not wrong, if you minimize then restore the window, you can see which files have been completed. But you can't scroll the window so can only see that for the first ...

Re: FFS creates lock file, even when no files changes to sync for directory
You are right @Plerry and I do do that. I actually have more than two destination folders, some on my LAN and some on my own 'cloud' server located overseas.
Of course when I do as you suggest, the syncs are still done sequentially, not simultaneously. But I least I don't have to attend to the ...

Re: FFS creates lock file, even when no files changes to sync for directory
I'd like to add a reason. I have folder A and I want to mirror it to folders B and C. Since they are both mirrors, A will not be changed. So in theory I could run both mirrors at the same time. But the way it's implemented now, I have to run one then the other. Probably the lock file should still be ...

Re: Flat versus tree file structure
"A option toggle would seem to be the way to go so folks could pick their poison."
In Windows, a checkbox has a well established functionality. I would prefer it follow that. However, if a checkbox has a different functionality in other operating systems that this program supports, then I would ...

Re: Flat versus tree file structure
The change was made because the developer DOES listen to user requests. There were at least several users asking, including myself. But in my request I asked to have both the old and the new available and switchable at runtime (without a new Compare step) because there are cases where each is better ...

Re: check boxes in Synchronization preview
Since I posted this seven months ago, I have become more familiar with the program. I did see how I can select multiple files and right click to remove them from the synchronization list.
I also discovered the synchronization pane which is great!
But I would like to ask again if the check boxes in ...

update of window during sync
This is partly a bug report and partly a request. I'm running on Windows 7.
I was hoping that there would be a way to see the progress on the main window as well as on the progress window while synchronization was taking place. However the progress window doesn't allow focus to be set to the main ...

Re: Flat versus tree file structure
I completely agree Vladimir11. My comment and request was to add a tree view (like WIndows, not like we have now in version 10.25) but to keep list view and to be able to toggle between them in real time, without having to repeat the compare stage. Having more than two views or options within the ...

Re: Flat versus tree file structure
"(obviously not with the collapse/expand arrows -- I am using this only for the visual example)."
Actually I would like the collapse / expand option as well as a checkbox to disable the foldr / file but not remove it from the list as there is no way to restore it to the list that I've found.

Re: Flat versus tree file structure
I am very happy with this program in general. I did support the tree view idea in another post some time ago. Thank you to the developer(s) for listening and responding to the users.
However I to do not find this implementation very useful. It removes some of the redundancy of seeing the same ...

check boxes in Synchronization preview
Hi. New user here. I did read and search the forum and read the manual.
Can I ask the purpose of the check boxes in the center pane of the Synchronization preview? After a compare they are all checked. If I click one, after about half a second, that row disappears. So there is no possibility to ...

Re: Feature suggestion: Collapsible Folder Tree and Same Disk Mode
May I add my vote for this feature too, but also add that it would be nice to be able to choose at run-time which view is desired. If you were to make some of us happy by changing the list view to a tree view, you would probably make others unhappy. If you allow both views to be selected then ...

Re: Feature suggestion: Collapsible Folder Tree and Same Disk Mode
It's currently not a tree view, xCSxXenon, it's a list view. The tree view would have the the little + signs to be able to expand or collapse a branch to show or not show the files in a folder, in this case. It would be very helpful if one wants to exclude the synchronizing of an entire folder ...

Re: Add "enable/disable folder pair" option for each folder pair in a batch job
I'd like to add my vote for this feature request. I had been using another software that has that feature and it's the first thing I noticed is missing from this software. I temporarily did the deleting of the folder pairs I didn't want to sync but that is dangerous if I accidentally Save or ...
