I just did some Quicken work and the data file DID copy over to the cloud directory now. Very strange. I will keep monitoring the situation.
THANKS again.

Re: Not all files are synced
So I did a file test.qdf and placed it in my documents. Freesync did copy it to the could just as it's supposed to. I will keep tabs on the main data file to see when I make a change on my c drive if it go to the cloud too. Very strange.
THANKS for the help and support.

Re: Not all files are synced
Make a change in the Quicken file, run a compare in FFS. See if it it seen as a change that needs to be synced. If not, sounds like a path or filter is the issue. If it is, run a sync and check the logs for errors
I see that my Quicken backup gets synced. I've made a test folder and it got ...

I have FreeFile sync batch running so that MyDocuments are synced to the cloud. It seems that not all files are being synced. Not syncing all my files
Earlier this month Western Digital had a security breach and shut down their servers. I'm running a WD MYCLOUD single-bay system in my home network. This meant that I was unable to access my files on my cloud. After they finally got the servers back up and I was able to access my files on my cloud ...

Crash Dump
I had a message on the desktop about the APAPP not responding (I believe). I had a hard time rebooting the computer. Attached is the crash dump file if anyone wants to look at it to see if there's a problem. I think my files are up to date for backups.

Re: Data Crash
Thanks.... I opened the dmp file in notes and it was a zero byte file, nothing there so I deleted it. There was event listed for the time the dmp was created. The WD Dashboard shows excellent health on my HD. I find sometimes the computer acts stupid, so I reboot and everything goes fine. I run it ...

Re: Data Crash
Well I'm not sure since the system should have been idle at the time. My concern was if the program crashed due to some Windows issue or an issue with FreeFile. I had an extremely hard time restarting the system, Windows seemed to be hung on something, although I got no Windows error message. If it ...

What I meant saying about the recycle bin is If I delete a file or folder I don't care about recovering them. I consider it gone and not needed.

Plerry.... Thanks for the reply and help. I've just switched from WDSync to FreeFileSync, so the recycle bin isn't a issue about saving.
