What happens speed-wise when you use the Google Drive For Desktop software to copy/sync/backup the files.

Rather than having FFS create its own connection to the server, use the pre-existing connection that you have using the Google Drive software for Windows.

If you are using Windows 10/11 with Onedrive from Microsoft, you have a folder mounted to your Onedrive.

This is how to access Onedrive with FFS. You should be able to navigate to your OneDrive folders from within the software.

You can "Map a Drive letter" using webdav if you like also.

FFS knows nothing about s3 storage.

You likely need to mount the s3 storage using an open source cloud mounting program.

Are you wondering about FFS support for S3 cloud servers?

If so, you would need to use special software designed to mount folders and map drives to S3 servers. There are both free/paid options.

Then, you can use FFS.

Not by itself.

You'll need to either connect to onedrive using the built in onedrive software that comes with Windows, or you can get a free/paid cloud mounting utility program that supports onedrive.

One other option is to connect to Onedrive using Webdav. Not the greatest, but it works for some ...
