Hi,
Zenju can clarify this but my research shows that:
FreeFileSync doesn't directly use the Google Drive API for connectivity etc

I'm using nvme ssds now exclusively.

Perhaps this will be more clear.
You need to mount with the mount command your Nas from Samba prior to using free file sync then you can go into free file sync and synchronize whatever you wish to and from the Nas.

Re: autosync to google drive
When using free file sync to access your Google Drive are you doing it through Google Desktop for Windows or are you using the Google function within free file sync?
Whichever way you tried first try it the other way and see if it works.

Go SSD everyone!
I have about 6 new flash drives I'll never use.
SSD is a LOT more expensive, only the SPEED is WORTH IT!
I get under 50 with flash and over 400 with SSD!

Re: How to speed up Google Drive uploads
What happens speed-wise when you use the Google Drive For Desktop software to copy/sync/backup the files.
Rather than having FFS create its own connection to the server, use the pre-existing connection that you have using the Google Drive software for Windows.

Re: Can Microsoft OneDrive be used or added?
If you are using Windows 10/11 with Onedrive from Microsoft, you have a folder mounted to your Onedrive.
This is how to access Onedrive with FFS. You should be able to navigate to your OneDrive folders from within the software.
You can "Map a Drive letter" using webdav if you like also.

FFS knows nothing about s3 storage.
You likely need to mount the s3 storage using an open source cloud mounting program.

Re: Please S3 liked way to sync
Can you please clarify your question?
Are you wondering about FFS support for S3 cloud servers?
If so, you would need to use special software designed to mount folders and map drives to S3 servers. There are both free/paid options.
Then, you can use FFS.

Not by itself.
You'll need to either connect to onedrive using the built in onedrive software that comes with Windows, or you can get a free/paid cloud mounting utility program that supports onedrive.

Plerry,
GREAT idea!
Wish I had thought about it. It sounds logical and should work. It's better to have the mail server use a server-side forwarding rule (I do this in Gmail) so it's always active. Not depending on Outlook client for example to forward the email only after the app is run on the ...

The base version of raidrive is free and can mount webdav as a local drive letter.
This will enable you to use FFS with webdav.

Yes. I was referring to a distribution list.
If you know how to write scripts, you can send email to more than one user from the command line. I don't think FFS lets you do more than one.

Re: How to set and use FTPes protocol within FreeFileSync ?
You can look for a cloud mount utility program. There are several companies that make software that does nothing other than mount cloud drives. Cloudmounter is one that supports FTPS. Not free though. When I saw their .net domain extension I thought they might be open source, only they're not. There ...

I think xCSxXenon covered it with his link.
My recommendation is:
Try following the instructions for setting up the SFTP server from Google Play.
Here is the FREE app in Google Play that I use:
