Re: Help with realtimesync
boris,
First, I apologize, it was not my intention to suggest that you are not intelligent. We all have times when we just can't figure something out, no matter how hard we try, as in my handle.
In your posts I could feel your frustration as I have "Ben There" at times also.

boris,
In reference to Your reply "I really wonder if being in a community group" is unfair and uncalled for and a sure way to find yourself unable to get help in the future.

Help with realtimesync
I set realtimesync up. (What a convoluted nightmare that was!) Now it works, but the normal compare and synchronise window that it opens remains open after realtimesync has finished. I can't find any controls to do that and there's nothing I can find in the help file.
Can anyone help?

I've got a conflict...3,000 of them!
OK I have 2 notices that come up all the time about conflicts. 1 is that both files have been updated since last time. I mean, that's not possible when 1 set of files sits on a backup drive doing nothing, and the other set of files is used.

In the folder there is a subfolder and that 1 file FirstRun that I want.

How to backup files with no extension
As part of my portable browser installation there is a file called FirstRun that has no extension. If I include the parent folder it gets copied across with everything else. But I only need that 1 small file, but FFS can't see it if I try to add it as a file.

I'm a long way from rich but I can afford a computer and a backup drive. So I can afford the odd few $ to send to FFS. Please put 1$ a month in a jar and then send it to them at christmas. At least its something. :)

I have tried now for weeks, spending hours on getting RTS to work. But no matter what I do I can't make it work.
I have gone through the instructions step by step, over and over again and still it refuses to work.
Does this feature actually work with Window 10 64bit? Or have I been wasting my time?

To use Windows shadowcopy FFS must be run in admin mode. I have the program stored on a portable drive and always run it simply by clicking the .exe file of the program. Is there any way to make it automatically run in admin mode, or make a shortcut to the .exe file that does the same thing?
