Are you sure you two are having the "same thing"? This post from two years ago speaks of another version of this software. I suggest, that you open a new thread and no ressurect this old one which is obsolete in a sense.
Also, please elaborate on exectly what you've done to get this "same thing ...

Re: Consistycheck-Error since Update
Zenju,
I can't help but go back to the OP's original post saying:
I've disabled the AVG Antivirus while the setup, but the error is the same.
Setup an old V9.4: Same problem.
And also my old setupfile V9.1, that works until the update yesterday, now shows the same error !

How are you downloading them? Are you using a 3rd party download tool? Did you try to download the installer using another browser? Chrome, IE, Edge or Firefox?

Re: ftp server
I have to admit that at first glance, this doesn't seem like a problem directly related to FFS.
To rule out this being a problem with FFS, can you please try and connect to the FTP using another software?
What operating system are you using?

Re: log rotation
Agreed. I didn't think of hovering with my mouse to see the balloon popup saying this was a limit for the number of logs. At first glance, I thought it was a limit on the logs size so I didn't check it.
Do you think it would be a good addition to the Schedule a Batch Job page?

log rotation
Hello,
So hopefully we're all creating logs now if we so choose, but what about cleaning up the mess?
Is there any way to get a log rotation based on user-defined log retention?
Cheers,
Shai

Also, it might be worth while, since it has come up, to add this to the documentation for future reference. I'm sure someone else would RTFM and come here afterwards.

Re: FFS GUI doesn't keep compare/sync and relative path region size
I really appreciate the tip there. I would most def. test it and see if it works and feels smoother to work in that fashion.
Having said that, I really would like FFS to keep my region sizes as I set them. Even if it's globally and not per session entry.

FFS GUI doesn't keep compare/sync and relative path region size
Hello,
I have multiple saved session entries that have about 20 directories to sync. In order to be able to see all of them, I drag the region down to show more of the compare/sync region and less of the "relative path" region.
When I switch between the sessions, the region size doesn't keep and I ...

Hello,
In continuation to the renaming procedure given here: https://freefilesync.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4802
