If you go to PC2 and use the program, it is going to modify the Data.jcc file before syncing with the file that was modified on PC1 and synced to the NAS. When you save the batch file that it runs, there is a box you need to check that says "run minimized"

I believe it is comparing the contents of a license file to a database, and even though it is free, it is seeing the license tied to a different hardware ID. You may just have to fresh install on each.

That looks like it is trying to copy a file into a zipped folder, which is odd because zipped folders are typically treated as a single file, not a folder. Try deleting the zip from the destination and manually copying it from source to destination.

No, that is no longer a sync. You could manually exclude, but that sounds inconvenient in your situation. You could just delete them from the phone after sync, so it only copies new files and leaves everything on the right untouched.

The portable version goes in a folder other than the program files folders. Usually this is a USB flash drive

The sync order of operations seems to be ordered the same as the preview window, in my experience. I usually only see the current folder get created, then the files in that folder, and then the next.

Markusoft, you are talking about a form of wildcard. The problem is, the wildcard needs to get it's info from somewhere. To do what you are wanting would require, essentially, an environmental variable that can be passed through the filter so the dates can be parsed from each file.

The program is specifically created for backup/sync. It does not support more features than it is designed to do. What you want is completely separate from the function of FFS. You can right-click > show in explorer > then rename from there.

File date/timestamps should be preserved under the right conditions. Folder date/timestamps can't though, due to the way Windows creates directories.

I would disagree with that. The goal of the program is to sync a source and destination, not deduplication. There are many tools with pre-tested algorithms for that

The sync option needs to be two-way so a change on 3 would sync with 1, then that would sync with 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6

Admin permissions doesn't necessarily give you permissions to do anything anywhere. You either need to give yourself full control on the directory, or uncheck the option in FFS that locks a directory during sync

The major issue is your spotty connection, not the program.
What stops you from starting the sync again? It should restart where it left off.
You could also temporarily exclude all but the newest 20% of files and sync them in smaller batches.

Windows has a 260 character limit I believe. Is it only a single directory? What reason does it give you for the failure to create a directory.
