Hello, I am new user of FFS. I have tried FFS on this scenario. Database synchronization left folders on 3 Win stations (compare). Right folder on MS server (database). When I adde…

When I installed FFS on my Mac, it never created the XML file needed to modify expert settings. I am a video editor and I need to run FFS with background priority so I can run it w…

I suppose your Version1 is your own way of managing versions in your projects. The most common use of FFS is to have a source-location, e.g. C:/BLABLA/Project that is synced to a m…

Hello, I have been wondering for a while if there is a way to sync files and maintain their modification time and date like robocopy in the CMD of windows. Anything I am missing or…

Just a niggly thing that I'd like to see changed in FFS GUI. As things stand just now if I run FFS GUI and it actually does syncs, in effect actually copies files from the one side…

OK - leave the graph as is - just add that one additional status box and you'll really have improved it significantly IMHO.

I don't know if this has been considered, but I think a graphical file picker would be a big step forward. Yesterday I was thinking about setting up a new mirror job, but the thoug…

Hi, any updates regarding this topic? First at all Junctions do NOT need administrative rights. This is the reason I usually use them instead of SymLinks. It would be great if Free…

Who can i detect the Version of FFS with a Script?

Again, only "Zillya" knows what part. This is obviously some BS heuristics. (and at this time it's [URL])

Yes, FFS portable mode is the way to go.

I’ve now found a workaround. I can map the networked drives in Windows explorer, then FFS those networked drives, and it works...very odd, but at least I’m up and running again.

Hi Zenju, Many thanks. Your help is much appreciated in a very hot and sunny London. Cheers DrT

Just for the record: multithreaded file copy (and comparison) has been added in FFS 10.0!

Aha, my mistake then. I've updated the program.
