Hm, but isn't the whole point of "Run whether user is logged on or not" that Windows starts the process in the user's account, using the stored credentials?

Map the shared drive to give it a drive letter, then it's that same as a regular drive

Bad media, bad HDD, the physical device is probably bad

Make sure you look into the sync settings. I have the same set up with everything set to "two way" and it works as expected.

android tables use a protocol called "mtp" which isn't that great in the first place. A lot of small files will also copy slower than a few large files. Lastly, the storage inside …

When a sync is running, it creates that lock file so no other syncs will run at the same time, causing bad things. As for why it can't be created, not sure. Can you browse to that …

Smart data?

It is more likely that someone still has that old file locally and it is syncing to the DropBox

You can add a command to run after sync completion: "shutdown -s -t 300" This will shutdown after 300 seconds, 5 minutes

I do not experience this behavior with an external Samsung SSD, just chiming in. But, maybe Windows defender is doing some scanning still and that locks the drive?

You can use another computer to follow that URL

Works fine for everyone else it seems. Must be a problem specific to your configuration. Can you provide more details?

The purpose of running silently and auto-closing is to avoid user interaction, so it kind of defeats that. If you're constantly waiting for a ding, you may as well run it manually …

I have 8 computers that sync to a single network folder without those issues. I would wager that your sync settings are conflicting

Try "*\debug\"

You will need to set up a RTS job that monitors the external hard drive folder. It will see when it gets plugged in and run a sync job

I run all the RTS file from my startup folder and the batch file from the documents folder. I haven't had a problem. Try from those locations

Hello I recently started using FreeFileSync with a Mycloud NAS. I have automated synchronization with RealTimeSync and the Windows Task Scheduler. It works well but each time a syn…

Final update: After upgrading to FreeNAS-11.3-U2 the problem was fixed. Thanks to Zenju for the support.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm not sure I fully understood all of your feedback but I did realise that I hadn't fully copied my exclusion list properly in my previous post. It …

Yes, on the donation edition download page at the bottom.

Then I'm pretty much confused... OK, I've done some more testing: after a failed comparison, it just seems like FFS want to copy the whole content to the remote location, but if I …

To Zenju Not spam but I just have same problem and try to fix this problem by myself. As admin do you know why it happen?

Great! Thanks for letting us know.

For WebDav the same as applies as e.g. for FTP. See [URL], also for options to circumvent the problem.

[Quote] Sorry, missed the -DirPair

I have had the same problem today - both the Win Portable and the Win Setup files are the same and will not install - help would be appreciated

Verified fixed. Many thanks!

Hi, After more investigations, problem is on FreeFileSync that is not able to detect correctly Cryptomator virtual disk. I try another sync utility that is working fine.

This is correct. I was pinched by this as well until I remembered this feature (which is pretty good when dealing with large numbers of files you don't really need all the time. So…

It still shows "Incorrect Command Line" even w/out the space Character. How do I fix this?

Same thing? [URL]

Hello Friends, I am having this problem too. And it appears that sometimes (in my case) it contributes to duplicate file problems in GDrive... I think... haven't quite worked out h…

I excluded manual. Right-click I never used. ;-) *\file.lock works I was irritated by the sample \subfolder\ in the samples. It is only valid for root subfolders.

Try this command: xcopy "C:\Battlestate Games\EFT (live)\EscapeFromTarkov_Data\Managed\Assembly-CSharp.dll" "C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\backup\"

Try (menu) Help > About -- or just press key combination Shift+F1

Thanks Plerry, I've got it working perfectly fine with just File Time and Size Compare, but a lot of files where File Content would be handy. Apart from that this software is super…
