So, it seems you would need to exclude *: without the folder-name part in front of it.
However, if that turns out to be true, I fail to see the logic behind it.

Normally (normal) users don't have write access to system folders like \Program Files\.
Simply extract all content of the FFS installer ZIP-file to a single folder where you have write access, and install from there.

Re: Setup local Network
I assume you will be running FFS on either your Mac or your Windows machine. In that case, you only need to share your to-be-synced folder(s) on the machine on which you do not run FFS. In my view, the simplest would be sharing via the SMB protocol. Further info https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-h...

Your picture shows that: • There are 511 files equal between your left and right location • There are 393 files in your right location that are not (yet) present in your left location, and FFS intends to copy righ-to-left. • There are 11 conflicts between your left and right-side, that FFS can not r...

If you hoover your mouse over the icon mid between a left- and right-side file in the Compare results window, it will tell you why FFS thinks it should take the proposed action on that file. But there also seems to be an issue that (at least presently) FFS is showing the same icons for moving or ren...

Re: [Feature Request] Keep Modified Date Identical
To the extent possible, FFS does preserve the modification date. However, there are some protocols (e.g. some (S)FTP flavors) that simply do not support preservation of the modification date, or the implementation of some protocols is shaky (e.g. most notable the MTP implementation in quite some And...

This reads like some tool on the destination computer accesses and modifies (or at least changes the modified date of) said 32 files after they are written there. I suppose installing the Business Edition works the same way as for the Donation Edition. As xCSxXenon already wrote , you need to unzip the file you downloaded. That is: unzip all files in the zip-file into one and the same (unzipped) folder, and then run the installer from that (unzipped) folder. ...

Please use a more suitable forum for questions and discussions that purely concern software other than FFS.
Obviously, you can use this forum to e.g. request FFS features by pointing to other software.
