would it be possible to add the copy function to tape drives? Thanks

A bit of an outdated topic but seeing that this is still not implemented, I'd like to push this up back into the view of the developers. Not sure why this is not such a big deal fo…

I think, there is'n any interest in realtime logs. Developers, pleasure just add flush function to log writing code.

It's actually a sharing done in SMB. [Attachment] RTS works with the folder configured to monitor. Problem is in the new files in the new subfolders.

First of all, many thanks for this excellent programme. Someone with a multi-camera rig is using free software that I provide to capture synchronised images. The special SD/USB car…

You're seeing ordinary I/O buffering done by the OS, not FreeFileSync.

Just installed this program, and backing up a Tb takes 6 hours. The speed is only 30-40Mb from my SSD drive to my External USB drive. (USB 3.0) If I copy and Paste it's around 100-…

Do you have some more information, maybe even a way to reproduce this?

For one it's more convenient, we don't have to hunt for the FFS executable, especially if it's portable and not accessible via start menu. Sure we can create shortcuts and such, st…

You can define multiple left-right folder pairs, and next to that you can use include-and/or exclude filters. That might bring you close to where you want to be. If you use multipl…

I know there's a reply from 2009 about this subject, but I think it would be a good option. The given reply is actually not the best option in some cases. Having a number of indivi…

Yes, RealTimeSync should get a menu -> New command. (even when there is not that much data to clear).

That is exactly what FFS does support. Simply define multiple left-right pairs in one and the same sync setting as per my previous reply. (You can add left-right pairs by clicking …

The lack of progress for a remote-copy action is a really good point! It really makes the implementation I had in mind unreliable. I also did some more research and found out that …

Would love to take credit but it was the developer (@Zenju) who came up with the SSHFS suggestion. Previously was looking for FreeFileSync SFTP support on Linux to do two-way sync.…

Issue has been fixed, including a buffer tweak required on Win7 to get max FTP upload speed: [URL]

I've added Pageant support, which should solve this requirement, too: [URL]

I've added Pageant support! Let me know in case there are any issues: [URL]

Many thanks for the response - I thoroughly enjoy FFS. I've used it to create my own sort of "Carbonite Backup", where i mirror my documents, etc. over to my 2nd hard drive and the…

It does not appear that ed22519 keys can be used with FreeFileSync. Secondly SSH agent support would be nice but realize that not many people would use it and since FreeFileSync is…

Now we have 2 bars: 1. Total progress (data) 2. Total progress (items) I propose add 3rd bar: progress of current item.

Now we have percentages in Title. I think it will be better to add speed too. For example: "12,34% - 5,67 MB/s - ..."
