FFS simply shows you the error Windows generated. This is a very common scenario between Windows and Unix/Linux machines. Your problem is not FFS, but either Windows or the NAS (Fr…

You'll have to create two separate RTS packages for that

Just create multiple pairs and include only a section of folders, or exclude everything but a section of folders, whatever is easier.

You can also remove the path to the finish wav file in the options

Check windows.old

The error-message is clear: The FFS sync has no write-access to your NAS folder "\\freenas\user\desktop". Windows (?) connects to your NAS using user credentials (user/password). A…

Any roadmap or thought into building an image for container deployment of FreeFileSync application?

Thank you! Everything works fine!

This has been the behavior in FFS since my earliest use/recollection (~2011). Note that the sequence in which multiple left-right folder pairs are listed is not relevant, as in the…

Human error. Disregard my posts. It is working as expected!

That's up to the author of FFS. I can't oversee the impact of syncing in the sequence as ultimately shown in the compare results window, and any potential adverse effects of that, …

Wow, thanks also from my side for this feature!

I know this is a very old post but the problem was just present to me. I found the following workaround: (maybe it’s already mentioned somewhere else) In Windows Disk Management, w…

Hi again. Not sure if the "custom post-sync script" is a note to yourself or a feature of FFS that I haven't discovered yet.... :-) It's been a veeeery looooooooooooong time since …

Shouldn't be a problem as far as FFS is concerned. File systems however have different constraints, most notably FAT (requires dates >= 1980)

I think matching up the grouping and/or sorting ability to select the tagged copy of each group to use that path selected to mark/tag the other entries similar to that path before …

Many thanks, it worked. It was a bit tricky to figure out which folder the symlink should point to and which folders should be compared. Certainly not as straight as the feature I …

Did you try storing your sync as a *.ffs_batch-file, and select to Ignore Errors when saving. See [URL] (the second box marked in red).

Hello, I would like an new internal-var - for example: %base_path2% - with the Base-Folder-Names. When having more than one folder-pairs: i would use the these var for archiving. T…

There is a problem with longer file paths and folders. Maybe 8 or more ingredients in each other. But quite randomly, sometimes it goes and sometimes not.

I agree that File time and File size should be independent comparison criteria - with options to select either or both. Thank you for FFS which is (almost) indispensible for my dai…

OK, please ignore my cranial flatulence. I found FFS in a repository.

I'm a new user. I'm happy with the features the software provides. It's very useful. However, I think there needs to be some work done in the user interface. At the minimum, the bu…

Anyone, please? Esp. about which folders to exclude... Thanx.
