Good news: I have found and fixed the problem with "VSS_E_SNAPSHOT_SET_IN_PROGRESS". As it turns out there was indeed some "cleanup code" missing on my part. However I won't take t…

Seems your looking for the "update" sync variant. - Zenju

This should already be possible with the current release. However note, that Skydrive allows only certain known types of file extensions. Trying to sync others will result with err…

Thanks again! How does FreeFileSync determine whether a file has changed?

This request is covered by the time range selector.

I continue on the proposed topic "date range selections": [URL]

FFS does not have a built-in scheduler, but a sync-job can be started by Windows Task Planner, by invoking "c:\Program Files\...\FreeFileSync.exe <path of syncjob.ffs_batch>

Hi, I've been running some tests synchronising 2 folders with RealTimeSync. This works very well and i haven't had any problems so far. However, what if i want to synchronise 3 fol…

Double-click an entry and copy and paste. You can insert rows at a specific location by setting the grid cursor prior to insertion.

@nosbischs: They do convert in my tests, so I have no idea what goes wrong in your case. Maybe the config file is in an older format than v3.17? Anyway I wouldn't expect too much f…

It's possible, but before that, FFS needs to implement a file system abstraction layer. Right now it directly reads and writes files through WinAPI (at kernel level). This is a pla…

I would have to agree with Zenju. I would not want the file sync software to perform the encryption as it would only serve to slow it down. I use TC and it works just fine. I have …

Ahh, I see. I look forward to 3.17. And, even if the size increases it's well worth it. I already install both 32-bit and 64-bit versions so it can work on all my old and new compu…

FFS batch jobs can be used in combination with the operating systems scheduling mechanisms (e.g. task planner on windows) 1 and 2 are thous covered externally.

This scenario will be eventually covered via: [404, Invalid URL: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2880632&group_id=234430&atid=1093083]

Glad to hear that. It really was a problem for us that now seems to be solved. Thanks.
