You're welcome! I also realized just now that you said 5.20 and not 5.2. That's not a decimal number, so they are not the same. So I was reading the wrong version's source code. Fo…

Thanks for the script! But I think FreeFileSync should export the drive letter in an environment variable in the first place. I mean, FFS has the info, and whatever you want to do …

Beautiful, I will give that a go, thank you!

Nevvver mind. I'm not sure what I did, but FreeFileSync is now performing as expected. My best guess is that I was clicking the wrong icons, or possibly the right ones in the wrong…

[Quote] The OP didn't mention anything about a .ffs_lock file, and did specify a .lnk file, so that seems irrelevant

Works perfectly fine on my mirrors, wouldn't do it any other way

I just setup another test sync, then added 3 folder with 3 files and this time it worked. I'm baffled as to what's happening. If it happens again I will post the snapshot.

Wasn't super detailed from what I saw. It seems to just show an Access Denied error from a bad memory access request. Is this a consistent issue? Machine specs?

Surely it's likely that a single, or few, folder(s) are the cause of this size. After a comparison, do you see any folders in the bottom-left panel with abnormally large size?

Looks like you are trying to sync from your phone via the Phone Link connection in Windows. Trying using the direct access method from This PC
