The number isn't automatically decreased but there is still some leeway to support hardware migration cases such as yours, so it should be fine.

Threads in FFS aren't how many threads of your CPU it uses. It is just a number a parallel transfers. So if you can only transfer 5MB/s because the server limits it, it can open up…

Run a comparison but don't sync it. What does it show you about the file?

So, you are trying to sync the source with just the folder and file NAMES of the destination?

The portable version goes in a folder other than the program files folders. Usually this is a USB flash drive

The sync order of operations seems to be ordered the same as the preview window, in my experience. I usually only see the current folder get created, then the files in that folder,…

Markusoft, you are talking about a form of wildcard. The problem is, the wildcard needs to get it's info from somewhere. To do what you are wanting would require, essentially, an e…

I would disagree with that. The goal of the program is to sync a source and destination, not deduplication. There are many tools with pre-tested algorithms for that

No clue what you guys are doing wrong, but FFS absolutely created new folders when they appear on one side only, as long as your sync settings are correct. That picture shows an at…

That is such a niche scenario... What happens when you run out of space on the tape? Doesn't it just give you an error and pause the transfer, then gives you options to retry, skip…

[Quote] True if such is actually the case. It would be even simpler if each designer only makes changes in his/her local "own" folder. Then for that "own" folder the sync direction…
