Check the daylight savings settings. [URL]

What was the error? Couldn't connect? The phone doesn't allow a connection to that location but rather the longer one. That is a phone difference, nothing with FFS.

You are probably getting a folder selected for deletion, which will delete the data in that folder.

It depends on how you organized your hard-drives. If your two main edit hard drives are set up as one single logical volume (JBOD or Raid0 or Raid1), and your three backup hard dri…

It seems you are still mixing up the *.ffs_real file and the *.ffs_batch file. Your line [Code] is a line from your *.ffs_batch XML file, not from your *.ffs_real file, and relates…

Thanks bgstack15! I hadn't thought about that, as I always compile everything using MSVC, so I'll give this a try and let you know how it works out. I was really hoping for some ad…

Happy to contribute rather than just complain :) Oh, and for completeness and anyone else interested I've updated my script that may be useful until email is added so here's the sl…

It looks like you need a command/shell script around FFS, launching FFS [URL], possibly [URL], and organize the zipping and deletion also from that same (or another) script.

How do I authorize FreeFileSync donation edition in Mac?

Same FFS, but it's the Portable i'm using. Worked using 10.12, but not when i jumped to 10.18. i agree, seems like it shouldn't be FFS. Any suggestions what i might try? i tried re…

Yeah I guess it would be nifty to have one icon that can pop up a GUI with the currently active monitored pairs and jobs. Having a systray full is clonky

Judging by lack of spam, it's working so far. I can't tell on the back-end how many attempts are thwarted, but if that is offensive enough to the point of never coming back, good r…

+1 for this request

"/" not "\". But I tried to recreate it and failed. So did some reading and: [URL] So I tried "\" and voila an example: [Code] So looks like I misread it and it was "\", not "/" si…

Ah yes, the other guy had the same problem (didn't find that post earlier). Thank you for the workaround! Yeah changing current behaviour imho doesn't make sense. It's sufficient f…

Such a simple solution and quick response, imagine that a great program with great support. I'm using the donation version and love it, I'm IMPRESSED. Thanks so much!

Thanks for the Update Zenju and all improvements. Have a stunning day.

Gotcha! If you are explicitly running as non-interactive, you are kind of creating the situation for yourself. You can have the task run "pathToFFS" "pathToJob" which will run it w…

If you check the option, it gives you options to decide those variables

+1 Nice job, looks very palatable!

[Quote] In my opinion as said before the COMPARE button should have a job/log info icon, not only when using SYNC button. So, if an user hit a compare button and NO changes are nee…

We can consider this post solved with the version 10.18. Thank you

O, super, thanx, obviously i missed this feature :).

[Quote] You can disable fail-safe file copy to test this with FreeFileSync.

I would agree with that option as well

Now that I like!

Priority will probably go to the bigger cloud storage options. Considering sync.com isn't even close to the top dogs in popularity, like OneDrive which doesn't have support yet, it…

I confirm, above solution works

FFS 10.14 works on my Raspberry Pi 3 see my replies to trying to compile for raspberry pi (under help) Would love to have an official raspbian (ARM) version of FFS.

[Quote]No. After RealTimeSync (RTS) has detected one or more changes in the specified folders and no newer change has occurred during the RTS idle-time, RTS will launch the specifi…

As far as I have seen, FFS looks for a db file in the directories, so if you change the source/detinstion, it won't have one, then will create a new one

See [URL].

You can use FFS for your present/normal sync (but then exclude the vm/vhd files via the Exclude filter). You can copy the vm/vhd files e.g. via a bat/cmd "copy" instruction. This "…

Maybe a tooltip would suffice

Also, you can still get the newer versions for free, jut manually. The donation edition does the auto-updates and the portable options

Even then "easiest" of features aren't easy to develop into existing code. For the time beings, I would trust the "forfiles" cmd utility

Just use the SFTP folder picker and see what's there.

Thank you for all your hard work on this great tool. Used every day for years. For the way I use FFS, it would help if there was an easy way to zero out the "Last Sync" data for co…

Your assumption is correct, provided you wait until FreeFileSync has ended the sync, and you properly eject the USB drive.

I think about to use PHP - extract the Filename and then add to MySQL DB. (or DELETE). This Files come from a video security System, thats stores more then 100000 Video Files in 3 …

Hi Plerry, thanks for the explanation. I appreciated that. Yes, for my case I'll need to do it for the order name I place with numbers starting on it and perform sequentially as yo…

Sorry, Plerry

Please add a way to set a smaller font size. I need it to see the entire path string. I couldn't find an existing way to do that on Windows 10. Thank you Mario

You mean [URL]?

Hmmm... That's interesting. It's a list that's automatically generated by Mojave under: About This Mac -> System Report -> Software -> Legacy Software [Attachment] I assumed it was…

I don't understand how I could have overlooked that setting! Maybe it's because I usually edit the GlobalSettings.xml file directly and never noticed the NotificationSound tag. Reg…

There is a setting in options to select a sound to play when compare is done. Although, when I click synchronize only, it compares and automatically runs the sync. Try saving as a …

Yes, just as I suspected. It's a shame, though, and FreeFileSync seems to have a nice UI. I guess I'll have to look into some commercial alternatives like GoodSync...

Thank you very much Zenju, it's works!

Thanks !
