The "Overview" panel is an aggregated view on the file list window, not a synchronization preview. Therefore excluded items will be counted, except when they are also hidden from t…

New option to ignore fixed time offsets: [URL]

Folder existence is checked independently, so this shouldn't be an issue. Do you have steps how to reproduce this?

FFS is indeed an excellent tool - I'm using it as a replacement for the old Fileware "FileSync" app, which was also excellent but has not been updated for many years now and creaks…

"This sounds like you want to just setup the ordinary FFS versioning?" You were right, obviously, from your first reply to my post. I didn't know that if I use the mirror option, w…

> differences are only in letters case FFS syncs case, that's a feature. > why would it sync "right to left" You're using `<two way>` sync variant?

Good point, the sentence is not as clear as it should be. I'll not explain, but revise it directly: While RealtimeSync is executing the command line, monitoring is inactive and cha…

Is the hang permanent or is is just some kind of lag? If permanent, can you send me a process minidump file for analysis? [URL]. If it's a lag, then a Process Monitor trace should …

I'd find this option useful on occasion, too. Personally, if only one section of the file was to be compared, I'd most often want the start compared (with headers and such likely t…

I also run FFS from a portable stick. I would vote to make this optionally configureable in the .ffs_batch or .ffs_gui files. This could be done in the "<FolderPairs>" node for eac…

Related feature request: [404, Invalid URL: https://sourceforge.net/p/freefilesync/feature-requests/279/]

I just realized that it already works with File Versioning. We can close this request. Thanks a lot!!!

FWIW, I use a .bat file to do some chores before calling my FFS batch job from my .bat file. When FFS exits the .bat file calls a second instance of FFS for a different job.

Hi Zenju, First, thank you for your great utility, have been using FFS for years now. Which is why this request is slightly embarrassing... Today I wanted to change the location of…

I agree, it's on the todo list.

I agree about differential compression. I used FFS over an ADSL connection and what takes hours might only take minutes sometimes if Microsoft's RDC was used. If both ends support …

Could be possible to have the RunWithBackgroundPriority option on the GUI? Would be fine to be able to change easier.

Hello, Is there any way to clear the drag and drop lists? Cheers, Ton Lindemann

Hello, I love free File File Sync. The only feature request I can think of is the ability to change the order of the sync list. I have about 10 folders syncing between two systems.…

I think it would be usefull to be able to have an option to specify an alternate location in case the disk is full or smaller. Doing so, if the disk being in sync is full (or small…

Thanks for the feedback! This will be fixed in FFS 6.7, release tomorrow!

Okay. Well, if I was talented enough to compile it, I would try, but thank you anyway.

AS the Topic says, i want to be able to make the software ask me what to do, so i can see what files are related and such. This is the only feature i can see that's missing. Thanks
