You can try the FFS [URL]. If you set the From date very early, and the To date according to your need, this can likely do the job.

[Quote] Hi there! Please check out the full, step-by-step instructions I provided at the link below to configure FFS & RTS to sync multiple folder pairs (i.e., jobs). It should sol…

[Quote] 1. Open FreeFileSync (FFS), then select the sync folders on both the right and left sides on the first line. 2. Then, next to the selected folder on the left side, there is…

Thanks Julian! I'm on Mac so not sure if this will apply. I can try to roll back and see what happens though... @Zenju can you get back to us please? Thanks

This is GTK+3, right? Maybe you need to try setting some specific environment variables (from [URL]) [Quote] So, to apply this here, try running this: [Code] And report if that mak…

Hi! I can´t make any connection with my ftp, how can i fix this error ??

[Quote] Fixed. FFS will now support both ALSA and PulseAudio by dynamically selecting what is available.

You can create a shortcut on FreeFileSync.exe, set it up to run with admin rights, and give a ffs_batch file as argument.

Thank you for returning with the solution. Yeah, that sounds a little weird, until you consider some components of Windows needed to be reloaded completely.

You're on the SFTP tab, instead of FTP.

This error is saying the data is unreadable or corrupted, correct? If so, you may want to check the settings again to see if "ignore errors" is checked. You may also attempt to cre…

Have you tried installing the latest version?

Just try copying that file manually

There is a big "START" button for me on the bottom of the window. Do you not have that button?

Your sync settings aren't configured correctly.

I have deleted some files by mistake while having Recycle bin activated in ffs. I can locate them in the Windows trash but their original location is strange, e.g. for file origina…

You may run two separate syncs. One with Versioning, Excluding those very large files, and one without Versioning, Including only those very large files

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm delving into an area that I know almost nothing about. I can foresee weeks of watching YouTube tutorials...

Just fixed the makefile :) but you beat me to it.

A Mirror sync variant deletes files pre-existing in the destination location that do not or no longer exist in the source location. It seems your use-case requires the Update sync …

FFS is most likely doing clean up tasks, like moving files to the recycle bin or updating the sync.ffs_db files.

Great, before setting this up just wanted to confirm that a Samba drive can be the actual source folder

Thank you for the info, that led me on a journey to figure out why my executables were different sizes between the portable and standard version. I determined the cause, PortableAp…

No, that is no longer syncing and requires a different method of comparing.

Nobody ever tried to sync symlinks from Windows (NTFS) to Linux (EXT4)?

Sync after installing [URL] which has ~120.000 small files: Speed goes down (even to zero!?) and estimated time to finish goes wild. As this may have many many reasons, I'd suggest…

Ilibssh2_sftp_open is called at the beginnig of the file transfer. I don't understand how this could be related to an error after 2 GB were already transfered.

Cool, thanks for posting your solution.

There is an issue with the CDN (Cloudflare) not supporting half-closed TCP connections as currently employed by FFS on Linux/macOS. Unfortunately this needs an update of client cod…

I was able to do it via IE instead of chrome. I'm at work so its possible its the browser or the firewall but not likely on your end at all.

menu -> tools -> options: show hidden dialogs again

Plerry, Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.

Hangs the program. I have to go into Task Manager and end the 'non responding' program FFS

Open the Task Manager, identify the RealTimeSync task and then kill it. There may also be other methods.

In FFS you can use Mirror syncs in combination with [URL].

That entire paragraph makes no sense. Please rewrite that with proper grammar so someone can help you
