Wow, I thought wxWidgets 3.2 dropped gtk2. At least the Debian package suggests that they only bother to compile wxWidgets 3.2 against gtk3. [Code]

Hello, is there a possibility to work with Freefilesync when you have different 2FA clouds? For example: STRATO = PIN via app or GOOGLE = changing PIN or FIDO2 USB stick. Enrosadue…

I see. But as far as git is concerned, will I ever run into a situation where both sides are updated but different git files are modified on each side and FFS ends up merging the w…

[Quote] You can set up all of that with FFS. Just make sure to exclude the versioned files from sync.

Ok, I see know. I didn't get the details before. But which function has the small button next to the filter button with the arrow to the right? For users who don't have a mouse wit…

Great idea xCSxXenon, indeed it uses the excluded list inside FFS, "reverse it" and allows to identify and remove all those files. This is a very good workaround. Thanks.

As mentioned, some of the apps I'm using opened it's data file and save without changing their content, thus caused the modified date to be updated. Thus, it would be great to have…

Ah, I see... If you want to keep both versions in their locations, just exclude them from the sync?

[Quote] I missed that! Keeping a backup of the key and retaining an installer is fine, you probably know what you are doing if you get to this type of service. What I don't like is…

De-dupe is a feature of the file-system and there is no way that I am aware of to do what you are thinking. The de-dupe works by having a "reference table" of binary data so simila…

This patch will permit to build freefilesync with any curl version >= 7.66.0 on the system. Hopefully you can merge this into your source code. Principle is always the same when yo…

While it'd be great to be able to do this directly from the source and destination files and folders menu, that method does sound great to get something going in the meantime. Than…

Thanks much. Sorry, didn't know this was covered before. I was able to do it with a Powershell batch file.

Well, FFS first needs to read the file names, dates and sizes, before it is able to apply its Include and/or Exclude Filter rules based on [URL] and/or [URL]. How else would FFS be…

Ah, good to know. Does this happen enough to be worrisome for the average "not essential" nightly "just in case backup" sync? Like the next night it will be corrected?

The official 11.26 version is not available yet (status 8 September 2022), but given the rate at which Zenju releases updates, you can likely expect v11.26 pretty soon.

Alternatively: Backup [Quote] to [Quote] with the standard Include Filter

[Quote] Custom background colors via a color picker menu option has been implemented for FFS 11.26!

Your expectations are incorrect. FFS ignores data outside of its filters entirely
