Hello and thanks again for your help. In fact there was some "virtual A to B and B to C" like you said with the ".gdoc" files of Google Drive synchronized files also with FFS... So…

You also could have deleted the symlinks manually in FreeFileSync first, after sorting all items by "size".

No, that's exactly my point, the progress dialog only remembers its size, not its position. Windows 11 22H2 x64.

That error usually means it couldn't turn a hostname/location into an IP address. This could be for many reasons, but I wouldn't look at permissions first.

You can just install it directly

Also a note, being an administrator is not the same as running something as administrator. The built-in administrator account has elevated privileges. Microsoft is kinda unclear ab…

The last sync date should (according to other threads) be in the GlobalSettings.xml file. Location: see [URL]. However, that dat should not be relevant. Simply run your sync config…

Well, if the error indication from Windows is non-specific I agree. What else could FFS do? Thanks for bearing with me on this. For my part, FFS is a 5-Star program. I hope that me…

Also, you may have been using the filters at the bottom of the comparison results to only show certain actions.

At least we confirmed where the root issue is! You may just have to have a FFS setup on each that 'fetches' from the other and never sends

That did it. Thank you. Tried about everything except that, so why am I not surprised. Lol. Thanks again, Larry

Chances are the locations/filters are just set up incorrectly. At least you have it working

I've just reconstructed the setup to screenshot the problem, but now I cannot reproduce it! The server was probably the one returning the wrong timestamps last week. Thank you for …
