Wow, neat! I hadn't thought of doing multiple selections using CTRL-click and I just tried it. Works great, thanks for the prompt help. Kudos!

I was ripping a CD this morning which causes the sync process to run several times (once as each track file is written to my music folder). The CD had 14 tracks and after 13, FFS o…

Very peculiar. The categorisation in the middle grid should give a first clue why the file pairs are still different.

Thank you very much for the info and the link. I was hoping I wasn't the only one having problems with the new format. And that is great that it will be fixed in the next release. …

Maybe run as admin the installation file itself. Therefore uninstall FFS and reinstall it as admin. Maybe it can help.

Did you try running FFS as administrator ? (right click)

Also, if you run the synchronization using the batch file created by FFS, then you can't "Run as Admin" because this option is not available in the right-click menu. What you need …

[Quote] What is the problem in batch mode? It's still a fatal error and the corresponding folder pairs will be skipped.

"folder_traverser.h" should be "file_traverser.h". I've updated the sources accordingly. Thanks!

By default, FFS executes explorer /select, "%item_path%" Maybe the file path contains some character that breaks this command line.

[Quote] Standby is not the default for the "on completion" command. Maybe you (accidentally) set this up in the batch file creation dialog in FreeFileSync.

Ah, I hadn't realized there are separate settings for the current sync job. I'll try again with that option enabled, thanks.
