Got it. Thanks.

One more thing: Can you please retry synchronization again until the error occurs, but this time monitor everything (only events of FreeFileSync.exe) with [URL] and send me the log…

Good idea! Implemented for next release.

The main grid doesn't really fit for having the same target directory multiple times: It's easy to (manually or automatically) set conflicting sync directions for the same file whi…

Only one small thing that would make my life (almost) complete. If there was a "move" choice in sync. I realize that move and sync are different, but you do allow overwrite.. I've …

You're welcome! :) Very nice idea with the quick access list BTW! This feature would not have been possible before the GUI redesign, so I haven't thought about it before. -Zenju

The logfile that is written in silent mode should contain everything that is relevant: errors, warnings, info messages and files that were copied, deleted or overwritten.

That would be fine! If you could provide an improved version for "backup strategies" I'll gladly update the helpfile. Just some hint about the style: Please keep it rather short wi…

Basically I know all the requirements for FFS, but I'm curious what you got.

Just implemented this feature for v3.12: Automatically exclude database and lock files from all directories (not only from base) > reason why you don't want to follow the conventio…

I just found it very odd. I've never seen versioning done like that.

Finished a working prototype: [404, Invalid URL: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2994784&group_id=234430&atid=1093083]

Perhaps a simpler solution could be to "compare by size only". This can be accomplished by setting a big value for "FileTimeTolerance" in GlobalSettings.xml [URL]

This is just a one time reminder, that database that is required for <automatic> mode is not existing for this folder pair. It will be created during first synchronization. Its pur…

Thanks :)

Thank you for your response. Actually version 3.7 used to report those 100,000 files as identical using the size / time criteria. Any way, I made a sync using content comparison. A…

The issue should already be fixed. But you can open a bug tracker item if you have steps how to reproduce it.

>Yes, they are. Sometimes, not always. ....?? With the newest version 3.6? In which situation does this occur and what db files are visible?

I think that it is easier to make an additional comparison of the two sets of files: "right" and "left" - without regard to their location in folders.
